The Siberian blue iris is a disease-resistant, very decorative, tufted iris species. Narrow, green leaves grow up to 80 cm in height, dark blue, subtle flowers appear in May and early June. It grows well in sun and partial shade. Choose a moist soil, although it will tolerate periodic overdrying. The plant is completely frost-resistant. The offered root seedling is the size of a seedling that will fit in a 1l nursery pot. The seedlings are shipped from March 15 to May 15. Plants are covered with moist compost and well protected in transport. Ground parts slightly trimmed to prevent excessive transpiration. After receiving the parcel, it should be planted the same day.
